About God
We believe that there is only one, living and true God—the maker and supreme ruler of heaven and earth. God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless, human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a full and equal part of the Trinity. He works in the world to make all people understand their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives (indwells) inside every follower of Jesus from the moment of Salvation. The Spirit is our power source for life, ministry and spiritual growth. To tap into that power, we must continually yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
About the Devil or Satan
We believe that Satan was once holy and enjoyed the heavenly honors; but through pride and ambition to be as God, fell and drew after him a host of angels; that he is now the wicked prince of the power of the air and the unholy god of this world. We hold him to be man’s great tempter, the enemy of God, the accuser of the saints, the author of all false religions. He is destined to final defeat at the hands of God’s own Son, and eternal banishment in hell, a place prepared for him and his angels.
About the Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to us and was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. It is the Infallible, Inspired Word of God. It is absolute truth without any mixture of error. All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
About Creation
We believe in the Genesis account of creation and that it is to be accepted literally, not allegorically or figuratively; that man was created directly in God’s own image and after His own likeness; that man’s creation was not a matter of evolution; that all animal and vegetable life were created directly by God.
About the Virgin Birth
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit, in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of woman, and that He is both 100% God and 100% man.
About the Fall of Man
People are made in the image of God; we are the supreme objects of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. Because sin entered the human race with Adam, we are born into sin. Our sin separates us from God.
About Salvation
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, through the person of Jesus Christ. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice for our sin and God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. Salvation happens when an individual understands that they are a sinner and they repent of their sin and accept Christ, in faith, as their Savior. Since all are sinners, all are candidates for Salvation.
About Eternal Security
Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer can be secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot lose it. We did nothing to earn it and we can do nothing to lose it. We are saved by Faith and we have security by the promise of God.
About the Church
We believe that the church is the global congregation of baptized believers associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship to the gospel. We believe the true mission of the church is found in the Great Commission: First, to make individual disciples; Second, to build up the church; Third, to teach and instruct as He has commanded. The local church body observes the ordinances of Christ; is governed by His laws; exercises the gifts, rights and privileges invested in it by His word.
About Heaven and Hell
We believe that there is a literal Heaven where all who are born again will live for eternity with God and a literal Hell where all who reject Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord will spend eternity.
We welcome any questions you may have. We have a monthly Member Orientation where we will discuss more in depth if needed. Contact us today for more details!
