The Bible teaches that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the home. This means that you have a big job that impacts eternity for your kids! Most parents will eagerly agree with us on this reality, but so many struggle with the practical side of parenting. Parents have a big job. We are here for you, and your kids too.
Every individual who serves in CF Kidz has been through our robust screening and training process. Upon applying to serve, each prospective servant will be asked to 1) be a member of CF for at least 6 months, 2)complete a detailed application and provide references, 3) must submit to a multi-jurisdictional state and federal background check, 4) complete and earn a course certificate through our Sexual Abuse Awareness Training, 5) complete our CF policy and procedure training and code of conduct, and sign acknowledgement and agreement.
Background checks and Sexual Abuse Training is renewed every 2 years for our in house volunteers and yearly for any volunteers that attend overnight camps. Our overnight camp leaders additionally are required to complete our overnight camp policies and procedure training and sign acknowledgement and agreement.
If you would like more information regarding our screening and training process, feel free to contact us kidz@cypressfellowship.org

Time travel is such an exciting concept to imagine! If we could hop into a time machine and visit the past, we might be surprised by how much has changed—and how some things stay exactly the same. One thing we’d discover is that God’s love and faithfulness are timeless. In this 5-week series, kids will explore how God's messages to us never change, no matter the time or place. They’ll learn that God’s love is timeless, we can seek God any time, God is good all the time, God takes the time to forgive, and God is with us at all times.
Each season—fall, winter, spring, and summer—brings something unique and wonderful. From leaves changing colors to flowers blooming or animals hibernating, the changing seasons remind us that no matter what, God is with us through it all. In this 4-week series, kids will discover how we can respond to God in every season of life. They’ll learn that God’s words are always in season, God leads us in every season, God hears us no matter the season, and we can thank God for every season.
Magic tricks and illusions have a way of sparking wonder and curiosity. But long before today’s magicians, Daniel and his friends stood out during the Babylonian exile. They were wiser than the magicians and astrologers of their time because they looked to God for wisdom. Through their brave actions and wise choices, they showed God’s power to everyone around them—no tricks needed! In this 4-week series, kids will learn that God helps us choose wisely, God is ready to rescue us, God’s words show us what to do, and our courage can help others see God.
Can you imagine if Esther and Mordecai were spies sent on a mission to infiltrate the palace and thwart Haman’s plot to harm the Jewish people? It might sound like a stretch, but God was working behind the scenes the entire time, even though God’s name is missing from the official records! In this 5-week series, kids will learn that God gives me a mission, nothing will turn me away from God, I can stand up for God and others, I can follow God even when nobody’s watching, and God can send me to make peace.
Many families hit the road during the Christmas season, whether it’s to visit loved ones or take a much-needed break. It’s a time-honored tradition—one that might even be traced back to the first Christmas when a bright star dropped a pin on a special location to guide people to the birthplace of the savior. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that God gives people to guide us, God gives hope to guide us, God gives a Savior to guide us, and God gives direction to guide us.
